If life isn’t being fair to you lately, then boy, do I sympathize.
Life wasn’t very fair to Jonathan either – in fact, immediately after one of the greatest faith-inspired victories of his life he ran smack into a set of unfortunate circumstances that he really didn’t ask for or expect. Unfortunately, that’s often the way of the world.
But Jonathan’s situation teaches us a lot about how to respond in situations that seem unfair or unjust, and in the process of doing so we can glorify God and create a beautiful offering from something that would otherwise be painful, upsetting, or frustrating.
